Presentation: Developing Operational Principles for EU Independent Fiscal Institutions I was presenting in a session on Developing Operational Principles for EU Independent Fiscal Institutions (IFIs). It has been the practical working experience of EU IFIs that the EU fiscal framework lacks guidance and methodological clarity in several areas. The EU IFIs are working to develop a set of common operational principles - a work to which I am contributing. I also chaired a separate Meeting of EU Independent Fiscal Institutions taking place on the margins of the OECD meeting.
