I was a Non-Executive Director to the Board of NHS Digital (formerly the Health and Social Care Information Centre (HSCIC)) from March 2014 to 31 March 2017. NHS Digital is an executive non-departmental public body providing national information, data and IT systems for health and social care. The organisation is accountable to the Secretary of State for Health for discharging its function, duties and powers effective, efficiently and economically.
