Challenger Society for Marine Science Networking Event

This networking event was organised to: a) raise awareness of the Challenger Society in York and the benefits of being a member; b) encourage greater communication amongst marine scientists and their students within York; c) provide an opportunity for marine science students at York to discuss career opportunities with external marine scientists in consultancy roles at Mott Macdonald, Leeds. The event involved a seminar from Dr Cath Waller from the University of Hull followed by a wine reception. Speaker andn consultant travel costs and the wine reception were sponsored by the Challenger Society for Marine Sciences.
