Description
The Orpheus Institute hosted “Christian Wolff at Orpheus,” two study days in September 2015, with the composer in attendance. Included was a keynote talk by Philip Thomas (University of Huddersfield) and an open rehearsal by TWO (Joseph Houston, Aisha Orazbayeva) of American experimental works, including a new composition by Wolff. Three papers were presented on Monday, chosen by the organizer from proposals received in the preceding months. On Tuesday a performers’ workshop was held at which appropriate repertoire was presented and coached by Thomas and Wolff.Period | 28 Sept 2015 → 29 Sept 2015 |
