Churchyard Secrets - Part 1, Public Exhibition

The Washburn Heritage Centre, Fewston, North Yorkshire is hosting a public exhibition entitled "Churchyard Secrets", presenting research conducted at the University of York and Durham on archaeological excavations and analysis of skeletons uncovered from the local churchyard of St Michael and St Lawrence. The exhibitions features panels displaying the recent results of archaeological, osteological and biomolecular analyses on the Fewston Assemblage, providing information to community members about the health, diet, and living conditions of the ancient residents of their local community. The exhibition will run throughout the winter months of 2014/15.
