Contributing editor to ‘Standards for the clinical care of adults with sickle cell disease in the UK, sponsored by the Sickle Cell Society and Department of Health.

Duties included commenting on and revising the text, with particular responsibility for drafting the chapter on social care. The report was successfully launched at the House of Lords in July 2008.
