Creative learning projects – Scottish Chamber Orchestra / Armistice Bells

Description

A series of interactive workshops led by Martin alongside renowned animateur Paul Griffiths saw over 300 primary and secondary school students explore the themes and musical materials in Meditation (after Donne) and to create their own versions of the piece using bell sounds, digital and acoustic instruments, and voices.
A total of 10 days of workshops, reaching 12 schools/groups: SCO Vibe+ (Glasgow), Douglas Academy (Glasgow), Milngavie Primary (Glasgow), Clober Primary (Glasgow), Wester Hailes Education Centre (Edinburgh), Waid Academy (Anstruther), 3 primary schools in St. Andrew's and 3 primary schools in Edinburgh.
