Invited Member of the Department of Health's Working group on new Assessment and Eligibility Framework for Adult Social Care
In line with the vision set out in the Government's White Paper 'Caring for our Future' a new national minimum eligibility threshold for care and support is going to be decided upon. In order to do this Government is gathering together a group of experts in the field to develop and test options for a potential new assessment and eligibility framework. Caroline Glendinning, current Programme leader for the School for Social Care Research at SPRU, has been invited to be a member of the Working Group. It is envisaged that the work will be ongoing for at least three years.
