Description
Organised an international ESRC seminar entitled 'Divorce and separation: new models of professional practice to support parents' to be held at the Nuffield Foundation in London on the 7th of December 2015. This seminar will open up debate about innovative models of legal practice in the field of family law. The participants included policy makers from the Ministry of Justice and the Department of Work and Pensions alongside family law professionals, senior academics in Family Law and The Chief Executives of Relate and OnePlusOne and the Chair and Vice Chair of Resolution. Dr Skinner also launched the report: 'Family Matters: Guiding parents to resolution’. The plenary roundtable discussion will be led by distinguished legal scholar Emeritus Professor Janet Walker OBE, Newcastle University.Period | 7 Dec 2015 |
