Description
ESRC Impact Accelerator Funding awarded was used to bring together both senior staff from Fairtrade International in Bonn Germany and leading international academics from the UK, USA, Canada and the Netherlands. The idea for the Round table was initiated via discussions with Dame Harriet Lamb (CEO of Fairtrade International) and Professor Bob Doherty (Deputy Dean, University of York). The aim was to discuss the future of fair trade and how the academic community could collaborate more effectively with key stakeholders in the fair trade movement. The meeting was co-chaired by both Bob Doherty (Deputy Dean at the University of York) and Kate Kilpatrick (Research Evaluation and Learning Manager- Fairtrade International). The academics and practitioners were invited to identify key research questions, potential research gaps and areas for future collaboration.Period | 30 May 2015 |
