Activity: OtherPublic engagement and outreach (social community and cultural engagement)

Description

Three academics gave evidence on the contribution of the school environment to learning to the Great schools Inquiry and Commission. Peter Rudd's evidence was based mainly on a study of a new Building Schools for the Future (BSF) school in Bristol. The Commission is an independent investigation that aims to explore the relationship between the school environment and education achievement and outcomes for young people. By identifying best practice, an emerging evidence base and capturing the views of key stakeholders, the Commission aims to shape the future direction of policy on schools and capital investment across the UK.
