Expert round table on the 10th September at 10:30, Portcullis House, organised by the Government Office for Science and Sir Peter Knight. Aim: to discuss emerging quantum technologies and innovation in the context of UK productivity and opportunities for public services. The Government's Chief Scientific Advisor, Sir Mark Walport, is carrying out a review of disruptive technologies and innovation in the UK to inform government investment and policy decisions this autumn. Quantum is one of 10 emerging technologies that government is excited about. Insights will be gathered from this and five other expert round tables that cover the Eight Great Technologies and internet of things to consider what the disruptive public service applications might be in the future and the wider impact on UK productivity.
