Description
Philanthropic foundations fund international development research in a range of low and middle income countries. The opportunities to engage with these funders are extensive but can sometimes be unclear. This workshop provided an overview of international foundation philanthropy, highlight funders of particular relevance to York, and illustrate case-studies of successful projects.
With plenty of chance to discuss ideas, the workshop also informed participants of the support offered within the University and helped to shape priorities for planning applications.
