Description

Drawing on the work of the European Observatory on Homelessness this workshop looked at the state and nature of homelessness across Europe and what is being done to tackle it. A highly varied picture exists in Europe, ranging from countries such as Denmark, Finland and Norway, where levels of homelessness are comparatively very low, and a ‘functional zero’ may be achieved, to countries like Sweden and the UK, where strong progress in tackling homelessness has gone into reverse.
