Description
SHP’s Camden Housing First service, funded by Camden Council, provided chronically homeless people with complex needs immediate access to long-term, self-contained housing and intensive support. An evaluation conducted by the Centre for Housing Policy at the University of York has shown that the service helped achieve housing stability for a group of people with sustained and recurrent experiences of homelessness. This has added to the increasing evidence that services using a Housing First approach can be effective in ending chronic homelessness and engaging with people with very high support needs.Period | 19 Nov 2013 |
