Description
The objective of this event was to present to the local community a British Sign Language Avatar translator - which will convert typed text into a signed communication. The avatar will also convert into Portuguese, German, Slovenian, Greek and Cypriat sign langauge. The showcase was organised in conjunction with VisitYork and was attended by the Lord Mayor of York and his Civic Party and the Vice Chancellor of the Univeristy of York.
