Roy Sainsbury was interviewed for the BBC Radio 4 investigative programme 'Face the Facts' which aired on Wednesday 14th May. Face the Facts investigates issues to do with social injustice, public policy, inefficiency and fraud. They looked into the closure of the Remploy factories which provided 'sheltered' employment for workers with disabilities. Roy talks about the background to the proposed changes and his experiences of meeting Remploy employees. The Disabled People's Minister Esther McVey is also interviewed defending the sell-off process and the policy for disabled people to be employed in the mainstream alongside non-disabled workers.
