As part of the Conspiracy Film Season, organised by CRASSH (Centre for Research in the Arts, Social Sciences and Humanities), University of Cambridge, I introduced Ken Loach's film to a public audience at the Arts Picturehouse in Cambridge. The talk contextualised the film by referencing a number of key events, such as the publication and banning of Peter Wright's 'Spycatcher', the campaign to release the Birmingham Six, and the controversy over the ITV documentary Death on the Rock, about an alleged UK forces 'shoot-to-kill' policy.
