A public introductory lecture to the concept of 'native language attrition', changes to a native language taking place after moving to a different country/region which can affect speakers' identities and sense of themselves. The event included a screening of short documentary film 'Lost in the Middle', produced by filmmaker Asten Holmes-Elliott, and was followed by a Q&A with Asten, Dr E Jamieson, Prof Monika Schmid, Prof Laura Domínguez (Southampton) and Dr Glyn Hicks (Southampton).
