The aim was to identify the unanswered questions about Medically Not Yet Explained Symptoms (MNYES) from patient, caregiver and clinical perspectives and then prioritize those that patients, caregivers and clinicians agree are the most important for research to address. The objectives of the Priority Setting Partnership (PSP) were to work with patients, caregivers and clinicians to identify uncertainties about the etiology, diagnosis and treatment of MNYES; about organization of services, and social consequences and costs. Agree by consensus a prioritized list of those uncertainties, for research. Publicize the results of the PSP and process and take the results to research commissioning bodies to be considered for funding.
