Description
PURPOSEThis second ‘Meet the Researchers’ event marks an important step in our mission to advance macular degeneration research funding through the https://give.york.ac.uk/p/amdfund/, a fund established in 2023 by generous donors committed to supporting research on age-related macular degeneration (AMD).
This event is an opportunity to bring together the fund’s community of people living with and impacted by age-related macular degeneration (AMD) - donors and potential donors - with clinicians and researchers. With a focus on ‘grateful patient fundraising’, the fundraising team and fund representatives aim to connect with those who have capacity to help us expand this area of research through charitable donations.
