Microscopy workshop at Badger Hill Primary School

Description

As part of Science Week, Federico Sabbadin and Katrin Besser visited local Badger Hill Primary School to run a hands-on microscopy workshop with a Year 3 class. Using stereo microscopes borrowed from the University teaching labs, pupils explored a variety of fascinating samples, including crystals, insects and plant materials. The children were excited and amazed by what they saw under the microscopes, with one pupil declaring it was “the best activity they have done for Science Week so far.
