Description
How can intractable social problems (such as those related to housing) be solved in an ethical way? What is the role of social enterprises and so-called ‘hybrid organizations’ in dealing with the need for social housing, and yet the existence of empty homes? In this research seminar we have two presentations on this exciting and relevant topic. First, Professor David Mullins will discuss how policy support has been secured for community-based housing solutions to empty homes. Second, Dr Alex Gillett and Kim Loader will analyse a case study of collaboration in an empty homes partnership involving ‘hybrid organizations’ and other partners.Period | 24 Oct 2017 |
