In this interactive workshop at the British Council in Karachi, Pakistan, noted academic Claire Chambers, worked with 20-25 participants to identify and discuss tips, strategies and challenges of writing a meaningful and strong book review or a literary opinion piece. Participants had the opportunity to workshop a short writing sample and get feedback from the group. The workshop focused on Pakistani writing in English as a jumping off point for discussion.
This workshop could only accept journalists, writers as well as teachers and students of English literature. Over 100 individuals applied and were selected competitively on the basis of their experience and supporting statement.
