This stakeholders meeting was organised by the World Health Organisation (WHO). The aim of the stakeholders meeting is to facilitate a coordinated effort among key stakeholders for inclusion of noma in the planned WHO 2023 review process to consider the classification of additional diseases within the road map for neglected tropical diseases (NTDs) 2021–2030 as requested by Member States in the WHA74.5 Resolution on oral health.
Dr Cismas presented findings from the Noma Project.
