Description
Festival of Peasant Music and Agroecology, with Sumapaz Localidad 20 as invited region.Participation of several local music bands and agroecological producers from the peasant communities of Sumapaz. Typical rural dishes were served. This event was co-organized as part of the NERC-funded project "Integrating ecological and cultural histories to inform sustainable and equitable futures for the Colombian páramos" (University of York) with the aim of raising awareness on equitative protection of rural life and the paramo ecosystems. The audience was asked for a small charge was asked to support the musicians.
