Description
This was a lecture at a symposium that was open to members of the public. It was hosted by members of the Doukhobor community in Blaine Lake, SK, Canada. The Doukhobors are a small protestant sect whose ancestors were banished from the Russian Empire in 1899 and relocated in Saskatchewan. The venue and public audience were, therefore, directly relevant to the subject of my lecture.Period | 31 May 2018 |
