Quantum in the City: the shape of things to come, outreach event combining panel discussion and exhibition in partnership with the Royal Institution, London

Description

Event organised by the QuantIC and Quantum Communications Hubs in partnership with the Royal Institution, London and other National Quantum Technologies Programme stakeholders. Included panel discussion on the benefits of quantum technologies, featuring all four Hub Directors (incl. Spiller, York) followed by a Q&A and an exhibition of nearly 20 demonstrators for the general public. The event was chargeable but the Hubs disseminated some 70 free tickets to London school kids from deprived areas to attend free of charge.
