Soyuz spaceship material challenge STEM activity at St. Wilfrid's RC primary school

Description

It was an activity designed for the KS2 curriculum where kids can learn about materials for space capsules and satellites. I gave a presentation and shown one video from ESA, then the pupils investigated weight, electrical conductivity and resistance to impacts of material samples to find the best one to build a spaceship. It was an activity linked with the National Railway Museum hosting Tim Peak's Soyuz descent box.
