Description

Quantum technologies promise to be the future, today. With potential to revolutionise almost every high tech industry we have and force us to start from the very beginning with a lot of our current computing. The talk provides a basic introduction to these technologies and their possibilities with a particular focus on quantum communications technologies. Dr Spiller also gives an overview of the new EPSRC Quantum Communications Hub, led by the University of York.
