Church Action on Poverty, Oxfam, IPPR North and Urban Forum, following discussions at a working seminar on 2 March 2011. Our thanks go to all those who participated in the seminar, in particular Gavin Poole from the Centre for Social Justice, who chaired the event, and the speakers from our local livelihoods projects in Thornaby (Kath Carter, Thrive in Thornaby), Barnsley (Jane Perry), Bradford (Mike Quiggin and Joe McEvoy, Bradford Resource Centre) and London (Sarah Kenningham, ATD Fourth World).
