Thalassaemia, sickle cell and associated hereditary anaemias in Wales: shining light and hope on invisible illnesses

Description

I presented a paper at a community event (The social consequences of inherited anaemias) organised by the Friends of Cymru Sickle Cell and Thalassaemia Community Interest Company, as part of Black History Month. Over fifty members of the community attended, along with NHS providers and commissions, the Child Commissioner for Wales and representatives of social care organisations.
