Description
Morse theory is a beautiful subject with a long history, which includes significant contributions from Palais, Uhlenbeck and others in the family tree. In this talk I will explain how to construct the differentials and cup product on the Morse complex associated to a large class of functions on singular spaces. Of particular interest is the space of representations of a quiver with relations, for which we will need to weaken some of the usual conditions such as transversality.Period | 17 Sept 2022 |
