Description

Chaired the Centre for Childhood Youth and Family Research's seminar on The Rise of Therapeutic Ethos in Education by Professor Brunila. She spoke about her current research collaboration investigating the rise of therapeutic ethos in education related to children, young people and adults in Finland and the UK. She considered questions of social justice, equality and the alliance of marketisation and therapisation within the whole educational system and beyond. Researchers and PhD students from the department of SPSW attended, as well as academics and students from the Universities of Leeds and Sheffield.
