Reimagining Prehistoric Yorkshire: Festival of Ideas Discovery Zone. This hands-on exhibition showcases how archaeologists have used new evidence and techniques to re-imagine life in early prehistoric Yorkshire. Explore the finds rediscovered from a stone age site in North Yorkshire, learn how archaeologists analyse them, and find out some mysterious animal skulls can tell us about beliefs in the past. Finally, see how archaeologists have rebuilt how the site might have looked 11,000 years ago. You can make your own replica Star Carr bead and some grass string to take it home!
