York Fiscal Policy Symposium

Activity: Participating in or organising an eventSymposium

Description

The symposium brought together prominent academics and policy makers from around the world to discuss topical issues in fiscal policy analysis. It included a panel discussion on the future of the EU fiscal framework. The topics discussed in greater analytical depth at the conference span several of the University’s research themes, and provided an opportunity of York staff to showcase their research. The Symposium was funded by an External Engagement Award from the University of York to reinforce links between the Economics department and European independent fiscal councils – a new target audience for research dissemination and collaboration.
