Description

We described how inventive Lego Mindstorm devices have been developed as automated syringe pumps, solution dispensers, sample collectors and reaction stations. With such devices you can simulate similar experiments to those conducted by more high-end robotic systems, used typically to screen chemical reactions (for optimisation). Using Lego Mindstorm EV3 systems we also showed how you can conduct chemistry experiments in a safe, controlled and reliable way.
