Description
The Youth Justice Convention is the annual event for all those working in the youth justice system, in particular managers, professionals, practitioners and policy makers.
Hosted by the YJB, the annual Convention is now in its fifteenth year, and is the most significant event for the sector. Previously, leading figures have attended to debate and discuss the latest youth justice policy and operational developments - and this year is no exception. We will be hearing from some of the sector’s most prominent, influential and inspiring speakers; and from young people who have direct experience of each aspect of the youth justice system. Bringing together up to 600 people on each day – including front-line practitioners, academics, politicians and policy makers – participants will be able to share experiences, consider issues, and learn about best practice on the different elements of a child or young person’s journey through youth justice in England and Wales
