Data and coding process accompanying the manuscript “Bias mitigation in empirical peace and conflict studies: A short primer on posttreatment variables.” The data contain information on articles that were published in the Journal of Peace Research (JPR) and the Journal of Conflict Resolution (JCR) between 2018 and 2021 (JCR volumes 62-65 and JPR volumes 55-58). While the data are at the article level, coding took place at the hypothesis level, with each individual covariate’s relationship to the respective treatment variable being assessed.
