Biography
Angela Paul is a Postdoctoral Research Associate in the Administrative Fairness Lab at the University of York’s Law School. The project is in collaboration with the ESRC-funded Vulnerability & Policing Future Research Centre, and explores the relationship between legal vulnerability and frontline interactions.
She has completed her PhD from Northumbria University, where she has also held the role of Associate Lecturer in Policing, Law, and Criminology. Her PhD thesis examined the laws, policies, and police procedures on drone technologies, followed by the police forces in England and Wales. Angela also holds an LL.M (distinction) in International Human Rights Law from Lancaster University.
Research interests
Angela’s research and teaching interests include public law, administrative fairness, socio-legal studies, criminology, and AI ethics.
