Research interests

Dawn leads a team of researchers working in the area of health economics within CRD.  Her role includes undertaking decision analytical modelling and Bayesian evidence synthesis to support both the NICE programme of work and other synthesis projects. Dawn leads the NHS EED project team and has overall responsibility for content of the database.  She is a co-convenor of the Cochrane Campbell Economic Methods group and has extensive experience in critical appraisal of economic evaluations. 

Her research interests include:  the use and reporting of methods of evidence synthesis techniques in health; the use of decision-analytic models in cost-effectiveness analysis; the role and usefulness of economic evaluation in decision making; and the practical application of evidence synthesis methods to combine multiple sources of quantitative evidence.
