Personal profile

Research interests

I am interested in gender-based violence in university settings. My Ph.D. thesis is a comparative project examining how universities in the US and in England respond to student disclosures of sexual harassment and sexual violence. I am interviewing university staff about their reporting and support processes and students who disclosed to their universities about what that disclosure experience was like to understand both what policies and infrastructure exist, and how student victims/survivors experience those policies in practice.

I am also the research assistant on a HEFCE-funded project entitled "Developing an intersectional approach to training on sexual harassment, violence and hate crime," which is led by Vanita Sundaram.
