Research interests

I completed my Ph.D. as a Marie-Curie early-stage researcher at the University of Padova (2020). Followed by a half-year R&D secondment as an MSC fellow at ID Quantique (2020-21).I have an MSc degree in quantum field theory and particle physics (2017) and BSc in atomic physics (2014).

My research focuses on device-independent (DI) and semi-DI random number generation from quantum optical phenomena, from developing theory, experimental realization, and certifying randomness with a vision of increasing security and generation-rate of semi-DI QRNG for cryptographic applications, e.g., quantum key distribution (QKD).
