Research interests

My research covers and combines health law and philosophy. I have a particular substantive interest in end of life issues.

Biography

I joined York Law School in September 2016. Prior to this, I was a postdoctoral research associate in the Department of Public Health Sciences, Karolinska Institute (2016), and at the Klinikum Rechts der Isar, Technical University Munich (2015). I taught law at King's College London between 2011 and 2015, and bioethics at the University of Chichester between 2013 and 2015. I was a visiting fellow in the Department of Philosophy, Stockholm University in 2016, and a resident researcher at the Fondation Brocher in Hermance, Switzerland, in 2015 and 2013.

I received my PhD in Law and Ethics from King's College London in 2016. I have an MA in Medical Ethics and Law also from King’s College London, an LLB degree in English and French Law from King’s College London, and a Licence-M1 in English and French Law from the Université de Paris I, Panthéon-Sorbonne. 

I am a member of the Society of Legal Scholars, and the Society for Applied Philosophy.
