1. Ultrafast laser-induced all-optical magnetic reversal in rare earth/ferromagnet alloys for future ultrafast magnetic recording technology.
2. Time-resolved studies of spin injection and transfer in FM/semiconductor hybrid structures and device with femtosecond temporal and sub-micron spatial resolution.
3. Magneto-optical Kerr imaging of domain formation and motion in magnetic nanostructures and devices driven by magnetic fields or spin currents.
