PhD projects
I am interested in supervising PhD projects in the following areas:
Associations between aspects of narrative identity (including experiences at school) and successful adult living (e.g. employment, social support and life satisfaction). I have a particular interest in occupational aspirations, expectations and plans; and in mental health and wellbeing.
Risks and benefits associated with using findings from genetic research (e.g. polygenic scores) to inform educational policy and practice.
Potential PhD students, from a range of disciplinary backgrounds, are welcome to contact me directly to discuss project ideas.
