Research interests
I am interested in elucidating the molecular mechanisms that drive human disease. More specifically, I aim to focus on understanding the molecular basis of cell transformation and tumour progression. Understanding these processes will enable the development of novel therapeutic agents against specific malignant diseases.
Currently my research involves determining the role of the stem cell differentiation marker Latexin on prostate cancer invasion and metastasis under the supervision of Professor Norman Maitland.
