Research interests

Computational electromagnetics, particularly as applied to radio-frequency and microwave problems; Uncertainty characterisation of computational modelling tools; computational and computer-aided tools for Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) design; antenna design; application of evolutionary and optimisation methods to antenna design and electromagnetics; human exposure to electromagnetic fields.

I am a Senior Lecturer in Applied Electromagnetics in the Department of Electronics at the University of York.

I studied Theoretical Physics in the Department of Physics at the University of York and then completed my PhD on The Scattering of Polarised and Un-Polarised Electrons from Atoms and Ferromagnetic Surfaces at York.
