Dr Xing Zhao is currently a Lecturer in Electrical Engineering with the School of Physics, Engineering and Technology, University of York, UK. Prior to this role, he held positions as a Research Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering, Hong Kong Polytechnic University, Hong Kong SAR, and a Visiting Research Scholar with the Center for Advanced Power Systems, Florida State University, Tallahassee, USA. He received the Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering from Hong Kong Polytechnic University, Hong Kong SAR. He has authored more than 90 papers in the leading IEEE/IET journals and conferences and holds six granted patents. He served as Session Chairs for many international conferences such as INTERMAG, IECON and ECCE. Currently Dr Zhao is an Associate Editor for IEEE Transactions on Transportation Electrification and IEEE Open Journal of Industrial Electronic Society.
