Project Details

Description

In partnership with APPEAL and National Life Stories at the British Library, this project examines and documents systemic police misconduct in wrongful convictions, focusing on the Ridgewell case. The overall project uses oral history and transitional justice tools to preserve testimonies of those affected and develop legal and policy recommendations for non-recurrence. In Phase 1, we will conduct a literature review, case-specific archival research, prepare for oral history data collection, and draft an external grant application.
